A. Definition of Explanation Text
A text that contains the processes associated with natural phenomenon, science, social, culture etc.
(Sebuah teks yang berisi tentang suatu kejadian dimana didalamnya ada proses yang berhubungan dengan banyak hal seperti kejadian alam, ilmu pengetahuan, sosial, budaya, dan lainnya.

B. Social Function
To explain the processes that occur in the formation or activities related to with natural phenomenon, science, social, culture, and others.
(Untuk menerangkan proses-proses yang terjadi dalam pembentukan atau kegiatan yang terkait kejadian alam, ilmu pengetahuan, sosial, budaya, dan lain-lainnya)

Maulidur Rasul Muhammad S.A.W

A General Statement : 

Do you happen to know what is it Maulidur Rasul? Maulidur Rasul is a day where people of Islam celebrate the birt of the prophet Muhammad S.A.W. It celebrates once in a year based on the Islamic calendar exactly on Robi’ul Awal 12th. The date becomes the priority of the celebration but most of people still have chance within a month to celebrate it in each of their house by inviting people to come and recite praise for the prophet through sholawat and dzikir together.

 Sequenced of Explanation :

The celebration of Maulidur Rosul in my village is not complicated perhaps it has similarities between my village and other villages or even cities. It celebrates in mosque and local community gathers there especially for the males while females, they usually bring some kinds of fruits to be served to all the participants.

It starts after praying Shubuh at about 4.30 o’clock. People take part by doing their duties; the readers recite the praise together with the participants and the hitters of tambourines hit them based on the rhythm. They do collaboration each other so everyone is able to enjoy the strains of music and so do the sound.

    The celebration ends at about 6.00 o’clock. Most of children are happy because they are able to eat foods, get money, and bring many kinds of fruits. Those events are nice days for them. Finally, the event will be able to be an education and knowledge in learning about Islam deeper by cheating the attitude of our prophet Muhammad S.A.W.

Do you agree if students should save their money? There will be many different answers if the questions are toward people. One of my close family members thinks that students shouldn’t save their money. Here are the reasons:
Apakah anda setuju jika para siswa sebaiknya menabung? Akan  ada banyak jawaban yang berbeda jika pertanyaan tersebut kepada orang-orang. Salah satu anggota keluarga dekat saya berpendapat bahwa sebaiknya para siswa tidak menabung. Ini alasannya:

Arguments :

The main duties of students are to learn while parents should give any school fees in school for their children. It is because they have not still had a job. One thing that important is students should have good marks so that they are able to graduate very soon.
Tugas pokok para siswa adalah untuk belajar sementara orang tua merekalah yang yang seharusnya memberikan biaya untuk anak-anak mereka. Hal tersebut dikarnakakan mereka masih belum memiliki pekerjaan. Satu hal yang penting adalah para siswa sebaiknya memiliki nilai yang bagus agar mereka dapat lulus dengan segera.

Having good marks will be one of ways to succeed. It means that the students have improved their knowledge by doing any kinds of tests. As the result, they will be very easy to have a job then. Well, it is a time for them to save their money after getting a job.
Memiliki nilai yang bagus akan menjadi salah satu untuk sukses. Artinya bahwa murid-murid sudah meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka dengan melakukan berbagai macam tes. Hasilnya, mereka akan mudah mendapatkan pekerjaan nantinya. Itu merupakan saat untuk mereka menabung setelah mendapatkan pekerjaan.

Recommendation :

I think that everything is based on the time. We cannot force anything ourselves. I suggest that when you are a student, be a good student and when you are a worker, be good workers, too.
Saya pikir bahwa semua hal berdasarkan saatnya masih-masing. Kita tidak boleh memaksa sesuatunya. Saya menyarankan bahwa ketika anda sebagai seorang murid, jadilah murid yang baik dan ketika anda sebagai pekerja, jadilah pekerja yang baik pula.

The definition of News Items Text is to inform reader about events happened every time. These events are conveyed to the reader as an event that is considered important, warm and worthy to be informed.
(Definisi News Items Text adalah untuk menginformasikan kepada pembaca tentang peristiwa-peristiwa yang terjadi setiap waktu. Kejadian-kejadian tersebut yang di sampaikan kepada pembaca  sebagai kejadian yang dianggap penting, hangat dan layak untuk diinformasikan).

B. Social Function
To give information to reader or listener about event that is considered important or even newsworthy.
(Memberitahukan kepada pembaca, pendengar, atau penonnton tentang peristiwa-peristiwa atau kejadian yang dipandang penting atau bahkan layak diberitakan).

C. Generic Structure
1. Newsworthy Event
In this stage, the writer / reporter gives the recount of the events in summary form.
(Pada tahap ini, penulis / wartawan memberikan penghitungan ulang kejadian-kejadian dalam bentuk ringkasan).

2. Background Event
In this stage, the events clearly elaborated such as what, where, when, and to whom or in what circumstances the events happened.
(Pada tahap ini, peristiwa dengan jelas diuraikan seperti apa, di mana, kapan, kepada siapa atau dalam keadaan apa peristiwa itu terjadi).

3. Source
In this stage, the writer / reporter informs some comments by the participants, witness, and authorities expert on the event.
(Pada tahap ini, penulis / waartawan memberi tahu beberapa komentar oleh para peserta, saksi-saksi, dan ahli yang berwenang pada kejadian tersebut).

 
Based on information in Newspaper, Jawa Pos on March, 13th 2018, writer would like to tell the information because he considered that it was really important. Many people in Tegalrejo village were shocked when they got notification by SMS (Short Message Service). It told them that they did the debit transaction which caused they lost their money. They contacted the BRI bank in the following day to make sure that their money could be saved. As the result, the BRI bank tried to give solutions and solve the problem by working together with some institutions

One of the victims was Elvina. It was a little strange the nominal shows coma, such as Rp.504.146, 49 she told the jawa pos radar Kediri on March 12, 2018. In fact, they did not do any transactions. The next day, they came to the BRI KCU Ngadiluwih. There were also many people who had the same fate. One of the BRI staffs told them that the case will be processed within 40 workdays. The number of BRI Customers who reported to BRI KCU Ngadiluwih are 16 people who came from three districts those were Ngadiluwih, Ringinrejo, and kras. Because it happens in some areas, the BRI staff thought that it would still happen to some other areas.

So when the customers do transaction, the pin is known. Actually, the staffs have done the anticipation the probabilities of the crime with the skimmer.

Team of BRI Bank has done the cleanliness and control to see whether there were things suspected in the ATM machine.  As we they know that skimmer is very small, he said. Related to the case, dadi said, the report of customers who are the money are gone, it has happened on march, 3rd 2018 but only some people. Since that, they have done the searching. Dadi added that there were a probability the doers are syndicates involved foreigners. It was be able to be seen by the nominal of the money taken with incomplete numbers. Furthermore there were also numbers which are taken after coma.

The BRI bank will replace the money for the costumers who were gone by reporting their selves to the customer service in BRI bank. By telling the number of bank account then the staff of BRI bank will give them a trouble ticket code. The funds are from the centre of BRI, dadi said. They will work together with some staffs. It can from the policemen and FBI because this has been international connection. Additionally, BRI staffs have done some effort to make inactive features to other countries indicated the skimming for example debit. It was done by Perseroan. And continuously control the emergence new skimming patterns from other countries. Related to skimming, so far the staffs of BRI bank continuously did the coordination with other banks and OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) to do prevention” added by the former of director of PT telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom itu).

Reflecting the evaluation of the event and it is able to be a lesson by doing something better in the next time.

A Snake behind Me
(Seekor Ular dibelakangku)

Animal that I am really afraid is a snake not only in my real life but also in imagination and even snake on Television. It is really frightful animal for me. I have a true story which is happened several years ago. Are you able to imagine if there is long and black snake behind you? Most of people must be afraid of it!

Binatang yang saya takut adalah seekor ular. Tidak hanya dalam kehidupan nyata saya tapi juga dalam imajinasi dan bahkan ular yang berada di TV. Itu sungguh hewan yang menakutkan untuk saya. Saya memiliki cerita nyata yang terjadi beberapa tahun yang lalu. Apakah anda bisa membayangkan jika ada ular yang panjang dan berwarna hitam ada di belakangmu? Kebanyakan orang pasti takut pada ular tersebut.

Several years ago, my house got renovation then I tried to help the some builders at the time. There were many kinds of materials of buildings such as sands, rocks, woods, and bricks. Everything was really in muddle.

Beberapa tahun lalu, rumah saya direnovasi kemudian saya mencoba untuk membantu tukang bangunan pada saat itu. Ada berbagai macam bahan bangunan seperti pasir, batu, kayu, dan batu bata. Semuanya benar-benar berantakan.

When I helped them there was a long and black snake behind me. Snake…! Snake…! There is a snake behind me, I shouted. I did hope there would be anyone who was able to help me. I was really shock and I was not able to do anything.

Ketika saya membantu mereka ada seekor ular dibelakang saya Ular…! Ular…! Ada seekor ular dibelakang saya, saya berteriak. I berharap akan ada orang yang dapat membantu saya. Saya benar-benar kaget dan saya tidak bisa melakukan apa-apa.

After that, some of the builders helped me while the snake was still slithering and trying to avoid us. They killed it very soon. I actually did not want it to be killed but we were afraid that it would be very dangerous for our safety and also for other people. Next time, I have to be careful in such conditions.

Setelah itu, beberapa dari tukang bangunan membantu saya sementara ular tersebut merayap dan mencoba mengindari kami. Mereka membunuh ular tersebut dengan segera. Sebenarnya saya tidak ingin dibunuh tapi kami takut bahwa itu akan sangat bahaya untuk keselamatan kami dan orang lain. Dilain waktu, saya harus berhati-hati dalam kondisi demikian.
